Emergency relief is available for singles and families from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds who are in financial distress. This includes international students and refugees.

Do you want to practice your speaking skills in a fun and informal way? Join our volunteers for a welcoming and encouraging conversation circle. Make friends, practice your English, and learn a little about Australia along the way.

Life Conversation Circle
Mondays 5.00 pm - 6.00pm at the Victoria Park Community Centre, 248 Gloucester St, East Victoria Park, Perth, Western Australia.
This is a welcoming space to socialise and make friends. We engage in conversations that are helpful for life in Australia such as finding friends, connecting in community, learning about Australian culture and work life, whilst gaining confidence practicing speaking English.
International Friends
4.30pm - 6.00pm Sundays at the Victoria Park Community Centre,
248 Gloucester St, East Victoria Park, Perth, Western Australia.
We are a fun group of people from all different countries that get to know each other! We meet on Sundays at 4.30pm during school term and eat, chat and do a “finding life topic” such as finding peace, courage, joy, friends, community. These groups are also designed for people learning english.
We also have cultural dinners and excursions to beautiful natural settings in Perth.
